“Love the locations and the characters in this mystery novel with lots of twists and turns.” Harry

An archaeological expedition to the Black Sea discovers the remains of an ancient city that could shatter accepted history. But their efforts to unravel the truth are frustrated by their sponsor Andre Zidane, who seems to have other reasons for funding the project. The unsolved death of one of the team a year earlier adds to their problems when the police take a renewed interest.

The Condyne paradox draws its inspiration from the origins of science fiction where science forms a platform to launch a story of mystery and intrigue. This book is the first in a series called Connections which also includes: Noril’sk, The Occam factor and A china key. Because Connections is not a serial, each book can be read in any order.

Origins

The Condyne paradox began as a short story called ‘The wild hunt’ and was written to occupy time whilst I was doing a lot of travelling. It sat ignored on my computer for more than a year until I needed to free some space on the hard drive. Having shared it with a few friends they urged me to develop it, and this ‘long’ short story is the result.
